Changes are:Automatic executable searching
Clients can now automatically search for renderer executables based on search paths configured in the renderer interfaces. This eliminates the need to configure the renderer executables manually in the clients.
On-the-fly editing of render sets and job splitting
When editing the render set of a running net job (e.g., to extend its frame range) or chaning its splitting settings, the status of its chunks will now be kept. This means that you can edit most settings of a job without losing any progress.
The new database management can be used to backup the current server database and restore previous backups. It is also possible to create automatic, periodic backups of your database, so that you can always revert to an older version.
Renderer interfaces: Environment variables
Renderer interfaces can now define environment variables, which will be used by the rendering process. Many renderers use such variables to modify certain settings, and with this feature, such settings can be changed easily.
Renderer license management: Plugin renderers
Plugin renderers often have their own licenses, but also consume a license of their host renderer. The license management now allows you to set a host renderer for each license, whose license count will also be decreased.
