Current Hair Farm Rendernode users can now upgrade to Hair Farm 2 Rendernode (unlimited) for free.
New Hair Generation Modes
Hair Farm 2 has multiple hair generation modes. You can now distribute hair strands randomly or with uniform variation over a surface. You can also use the topology of the surface (such as its faces and vertices) for placing hair strands. This provides an extra level of control for both hair generation and for scattering objects using HairTo Instances.
Hair Modeling Highlights
Hair Farm 2 has various improvements to existing Hair Farm tools for modeling and styling hair. One of these new features is the Extrude Along Neighbors tool of HairMesh Edit that is designed to help reduce the time for modeling hair meshes. Furthermore, we have a new HairTo PolyStrips modifer for easily generating hair models that are suitable for games and a new HairStyle Uncomb modifier for easily adding extra realism to your hair models. Moreover, most HairStyle modifiers can now be applied to selected faces only, and we have many other improvements to existing Hair Farm tools.
